Amy Skeens Benton Founder and President

Amy Skeens-Benton

Amy is the guiding heart behind Far Far Away Farm. With an English degree from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Butler University, she brings more than 32 years of experience as an educator to the farm’s work and mission.

Throughout her career, Amy has dedicated herself to helping people of all ages and abilities learn, grow, and feel seen. That devotion now shapes her role at Far Far Away Farm, where she leads with the belief that meaningful connections between humans, animals, and the natural world can transform lives.

Her vision influences every program we build and every visitor experience we create. Amy reminds us daily that compassion is a practice, healing is a partnership, and that the simplest moments with animals can restore a sense of peace and possibility.

She is proud to guide Far Far Away Farm toward its purpose: creating a safe, welcoming space where hearts—human and animal—can find room to breathe again.
